Do you guys know what in this world that can’t be joked? Please gimme 2 answers! Alright, I believe some of you can make a good guess for the first answer: “Marriage”. You got it right? Great :). How about the second answer? This is a tricky one though ;P. No idea? It’s actually…*drumroll*…Potato!

Confused? Don’t be confused! That is actually the tagline of one of the best fries places that ever exist (besides Singapore’s famous “Best Fries Forever”), Ireland’s Potato. I just found out that Ireland’s Potato has invaded Singapore as well, check it out here.

Having outlets all over Taipei and New Taipei City, I feel almost impossible to not noticing the presence of their black orange-“Jack O’Lantern”ish-decored stores. Besides the happening stores, most of the time there are long queues in front of their stores as well.

Am I blabbering too much? Okay without further-ado let’s just see what Ireland’s Potato’s menu gotta offer. Of course all varieties of snacks made from potatoes: French Fries with choices of different appetizing sauces, Roast Cheese Potato Skins, Potato Balls and Cork Sauce Mashed Potato are available alongside with Hot Dog, Onion Rings, BBQ Chicken Wings, Lemon Popcorn Chicken and Chicken Strips.Having tasted some of the topping sauces, we came to conclusion that their #1 is Honey Mustard Potato, inadvertently in line with what they recommend in their chart listing. With 95NTD up for a portion of fries, it makes a good snack fulfilling enough to be shared for two.
