Sam 咖啡

Anyone an avid fan of LINE characters? Brown? Connie? or..how about “one-eyed” Mike in Monsters, inc.? Would you be keen to have a latte art with their faces? Please, somebody say yes! Else, what would it make me look as I went crazy (literally with some screaming sound effects) upon my partner showing me the pictures of this cafe’s creations.

HANA Cafe

We are again back with tea-time-themed post! This time we would like to review a cafe with a unique concept of Japanese phenomenon termed ‘zakka‘, cute and attractive style. While the term does give out unfamiliar aura, just ease yourself with simply description of a cute and homey feeling designed cafe. I bet local Taipei cafe-spotting regulars would most probably recognize this place as it has been in operation since 2006 to-date.

Drip Cafe (好滴)

Following our post mentioning about the super happening cafe near Songshan Cultural Park, we proudly present to you our very own run-down of the one and only Drip Cafe (好滴) in Taipei. Just opened in the middle of last year, Drip Cafe has been a very popular establishment in the cafe-spotting world of Taipei. To give clearer details, to have a booking there we need to reserve very early, as early as 1 month in advance for weekday slot or (take a deep breath) 3 months in advance for weekend slot!

TENTEN outside

TENTEN Gelateria (轉轉 吉拉朵)

Eager to chill out at a cafe with a nicely designed lush green yard? Sounds very rare in Taipei, right? We’d love to share this place with you and let’s see if you guys exclaim it like we do. To be honest, don’t expect too much from this yard, because it’s merely a tiny one.

Starbucks @ Taipei 101 35F

Anybody up for coffee time in Starbucks? We bet some of you would say “yes”.. Hmmm, how about coffee time with an extra Taipei 101’s 35th floor view, then (underline the phrase: without additional charge)? Maybe a lot of you guys have heard about this.. but are you unsure how to actually get there? You’ve come to the right source (I hope :))!

TJB Cafe by TheJeansBar

One very special day (12.12.12) my dear roommates L, F, and I planned to have a celebration (just kidding – we realized it only afterwards though).. Anyway, December (new month!) is coming  so we kinda feel like deserving a lunch off with yummy food  😉 (we hope to schedule at least one lunch-get-together session every month). Moreover, there is a trendy cafe cum brunch place in Gongguan just short walk away which L really wanted to try.
