Probably this will be our first coverage of Thai food  😛 I admit there are quite a lot of choices of Thai restaurants here in Taiwan compared to the rest of South East Asian’s. This Thai restaurant that we will shortly talk about is a chain restaurant that has existed quite long actually. So far, they have about 5 branches spread across Taipei and New Taipei cities. The branch we visited is located strategically around Xinpu, district of Banqiao (New Taipei City). We have previously passed by several times and noticed this place with some crowds in front. So, one night we just came up with a sudden urge to finally give it a try.

Upon arrival, we realized some things. First, the crowds outside were not the people waiting to dine, but simply because they provide a bench, passersby conveniently make use of it. Well, maybe the management thinks this is not a bad idea as it gives an impression of a very happening eating place. Second, they do make an effort of putting some decorations to support the ambience to be more Thai-like. Last but not least, the price is relatively acceptable.

Aside of the ala carte dishes, they also offer single diner item like pineapple rice, fried rice, or pad thai, which I think is not so expensive. We decided to order some Thai-must-have-dishes that include veggie Spicy Stir-fried Morning Glory, meat Roast Pork, seafood  Thai Special Prawn Cake, and of course since there is always space for dessert, momochacha (摩摩喳喳). Oh, not to forget, rice is all-you-can-eat and chargeable per person.

The taste of overall dishes was not unforgettable, moreover the dessert I think needs more effort (not only the taste but also the appearance are unappetizing 🙁 ). It wasn’t so bad, but well it wasn’t good enough to make us to crave for it. Well, we can come back because of their price and location, maybe.
