Heard a lot of hype about themed-cafe in Taipei? Shoot! Hello Kitty Cafe? Barbie Cafe? Mini (Cooper) Cafe? Or the overrated Toilet cafe? They are all now… sorry to say, outdated. Let us share with you what is currently trending in-town!
There are actually plenty of pet-friendly cafes around Taiwan as people here are very known to be pet loving. How about pet-friendly as a cafe theme? Does that sound exciting to you? Indeed this is what the latest branch of Tutti Cafe is all about.
Specially branded as Tutti Cafe The Paw Hotel, just what is so different about it compared to their existing outlets? This new establishment in Zhongxiao Xinsheng area not only offers eat-and-drink-ables for ‘human‘, but also for their good pet-friend, dogs. If you or your friends happen(s) to want to indulge your dear friend, bring it there to socialize and get new friends while you socialize with your friends too. Just in case you need to go for second round with your friends, The Paw Hotel (as its name literally means) also provides boarding to help you temporarily take care of your pet-friend!
How if you don’t own any pet but really want to play around with one? It’s fine, just like us you can also come and mingle around with Tutti (Tutti Cafe’s favorite Corgi, or also popular as “the assistant manager”) at the same time having your lunch, dinner, or tea time – their menu is highly varied hence suitable for any meal.
Woops, be careful when you’re browsing the menu as you will come up to this page with cutely arranged set meals’ pictures! Don’t order them, they’re meant for your friend!
Food-wise we’re quite satisfied, however not so much for their drinks. Three of us ordered All-in-one Set for Lady, Salty Pork Burger and Spicy Spaghetti. You can opt to complete your main with set meal choices (drink only; drink and soup; or drink, soup and dessert).
For beverages, we all ordered different flavoured lattes – Tangerine latte, Hami Melon latte and Brown sugar latte. My Brown sugar latte was the worst of all. There is no hint of any brown sugar inside, it tasted plainly just like normal latte. The other two (Tangerine and Hami Melon) were a bit more bearable, at least scents of Tangerine and Melon do exist.
Though their latte is a bit lacking, combined with playful and cozy environment, it is not considered a very bad place. Their location near MRT station should be given a plus point too. See you again soon, Tutti! 😉
