This place may not be the most happening brunch place around Banqiao. This place may not be the popular all-day breakfast joints (like the Din*r, Sec*nd Fl**r C*fe, Paddington Garden, etc). But hey! There are a bunch of good things behind the fact that this place does not belong to those two criteria mentioned before.

First, clearly you can skip all the waiting and queueing. Booking in advance is not necessary too. Second, price is also definitely not as steep as those famous joints we normally like to go. Third, you don’t need to dress up (as most of joints are located in the city centre) and you can simply go there wearing Tee and shorts, and flip-flops 😎 – if you stay close enough, of course.

Yes, we haven’t mentioned the location of this place. It’s actually in the suburb of Banqiao, New Taipei City, just about 5 minutes walk from Xinpu MRT station. Well, for those of you who has always roamed around Taipei City, it is the time for you to move out and explore! Why? Because I have heard so many people talking about good breakfast places around New Taipei City too.

Let me stop babbling non-sense and bring to you quickly what this place offers. As we always do during brunch visits, we look straight for the sets (where we don’t need to think much of extra ordering of drinks). So this time we also did the same and ordered their “French Toast set” and “Secret Scrambled Eggs set”.

Overall we thought the taste is okay. We really mean it that there is nothing much they do offer. But well, their hospitality and (for us) location are considerably not bad. Someday we might consider re-visiting, bearing in mind the space and reading collection they provide.
