Taipei-ers! Do you know that there is a magic door just like Doraemon’s Anywhere Door to escape Taipei City directly to city of Boston in the US? Pssstt – if you don’t know, please keep this secret as we will share it with you 😛
I foresee some of you might not believe me. It’s okay, see these pictures below and don’t say you don’t believe me anymore.
just aside from this door back to Taipei city…
See one of their tags? It’s “secret base”! Sounds fun, doesn’t it?
Wayne’s Boston is located quite secretly; our server even asked us how we know their place. Looks like most of their customers come by recommendation. As Boston is well-known with its seafood, you can expect to be served with fresh seafood (including lobster; yes that BIG FAT PRAWN!) here.
You can expect simple offerings from their menu: soup and salad, appetizers, pasta, steak and lobster. Oh, and for drinks they do recommend their beers or wines to go along with your choice of meal.
During this visit, we picked some of ‘recommended for first-timer’ items like their steak and LOBSTER (of course). We opted for the LOBSTER set which came in a bucket with other seafood and veggies as sides.
The bacon was simply…DELICIOUS! They coated its top with white sweet wine and then burnt it on our table – extra smokiness!
Steak was nicely cooked – however we weren’t even asked how we well wanted it to be cooked though, just felt a bit strange.
Their LOBSTER is a must-order. It was fresh, fluffy and juicy even though they just simply boiled it plain without any sauce. If you prefer stronger taste, they also offer grilled or grilled with cheese!
Wayne’s Boston gave us a good first impression and we had a great celebration there. Let us know how’s your experience too!
PS: See the view outside the window in the picture above. It kinda gives you a real Boston vibe, doesn’t it?
Where else can you come across this magic?
