FabCafe Taipei: What do you fab?

Who of you are creative people? Where do you normally go or hang out? Do you know that in Taipei there is this place called FabCafe: A Place for Creating?

Awhile (外兒小館)

One clear day (it was winter, but weather was unexpectedly friendly), we were too happy to waste the great atmosphere outside and took a random walk around Fuzhong in Banqiao district as it has been awhile. We walked and walked and walked.. until we finally reached Central Banqiao area. Starting to feel tired, I initiated we find a place for a quick rest.

Aranzi Aronzo アランジアロンゾ (阿朗基咖啡)

Two more days left for this long weekend holiday…any plan yet? Hopefully this post can be one option to be considered? 😉 Have you heard of the brand ‘Aranzi Aronzo‘ before? How about these characters: “Usagi“, “Kappa“, “Panda“, and bad guy “Warumono“, anything familiar? Aranzi Aronzo started offby two ladies in Japan as a home original goods manufacturer. Styled as kawaii, Japanese for cute/adorable, it effectively created colourful attractive characters featured in their notebooks, t-shirts, postcards, and now cakes as well as drinks too.

Richard & Jill's Dream House

Richard & Jill

Have you heard about “From Paris with Love”, “From Russia with Love”, or simply “New York, I Love You”? I believe those sound very familiar, right? But if we ask you if you’ve heard “Falling in Love in Krumlov“, what kind of feeling do you perceive? Truthfully I felt a bit startled the first time we came to know this romantic “love story”.

2F Lite (貳拂咖啡)

This place we’re about to review is tucked along the busy main street in Xihu area (looks like this only applies on weekdays as when we went there on weekends the area seemed a little deserted). Yes, this place’s location is not that convenient to us, we admitted it, but we really wanted to give you guys this special review! Why is this place so special? Curious?  😉

1861 Caffe

Anyone starting to wonder if we write the name of the place wrongly? Hahaha nope! It is really caffe with double-F instead of the normal cafe. As my partner mentioned this and thus we were thinking is this a mistake or simply they want to be different?

Peace & Love Cafe

What would suit your mood best when it is raining outside? For us, it would be staying indoor and lazing out, enjoying the cool breeze (of aircon ), and yes of course we mean during weekends – how we wish we can do this on weekdays too 😛 . So for this time, we are so much motivated to share with you a place we consider our very own hide-out base.

HANA Cafe

We are again back with tea-time-themed post! This time we would like to review a cafe with a unique concept of Japanese phenomenon termed ‘zakka‘, cute and attractive style. While the term does give out unfamiliar aura, just ease yourself with simply description of a cute and homey feeling designed cafe. I bet local Taipei cafe-spotting regulars would most probably recognize this place as it has been in operation since 2006 to-date.

Relish Cafe (瑞莉詩咖啡)

Having been hanging around Xindian (新店) district of New Taipei City for quite sometimes, there are some places worth introducing. One of those is Relish Cafe. Located in the main street just few blocks away from Dapinglin MRT Station (捷運大坪林站), it is always full of patrons regardless of the time.

Drip Cafe (好滴)

Following our post mentioning about the super happening cafe near Songshan Cultural Park, we proudly present to you our very own run-down of the one and only Drip Cafe (好滴) in Taipei. Just opened in the middle of last year, Drip Cafe has been a very popular establishment in the cafe-spotting world of Taipei. To give clearer details, to have a booking there we need to reserve very early, as early as 1 month in advance for weekday slot or (take a deep breath) 3 months in advance for weekend slot!
